Frequently Asked Questions
What are your hours?
We are open by appointment, Tuesday through Saturday, with our first appointment at 9am and we close after our last appointment for the day has been picked up, generally around 4pm.
How much do you charge?
Prices for grooming can vary quite a bit. The price will depend on the breed of dog you have, it's size, the type of coat it has, the condition of the coat, your dog's behavior while it is here, as well as what you want done.
How long will my dog have to be at Pawsitivity?
We typically limit appointments to around two hours. In some cases, that may differ. Puppies and older dogs, as well as dogs with certain physical ailments, may require more time to complete their grooms. We will do our best to give you an accurate idea of how long it will take when we schedule the appointment.
Can I stay with my pet during the groom?
We can not allow owners to remain with their pets during the grooming process as it is a distraction for the dogs which may cause them to struggle and will make the job of grooming too difficult to complete. When you arrive for your appointment, we will let you know what time the grooming will be completed.
What are your requirements?
We require your pets to be up to date on their vaccinations. The vaccinations we require are Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella (Kennel Cough).
Do I need to bring my pets vaccination records?
In most cases it won't be necessary to bring your pets vaccination records. We will contact your veterinarians office for confirmation of the vaccinations. If there are any issues, we will contact you prior to your appointment to address them.
Do you board animals at your facility?
No, we only offer grooming for your pet.
Do you groom cats?
No, we do not groom cats. We recommend having your veterinarian groom your cats if necessary.
